Reliability is everything in mission-critical networks. That’s why our new Industrial Ethernet Switches come with integrated Fiber Bypass technology, ensuring your network keeps running — even in the event of a power or switch failure.

The diagram illustrates 3 different scenarios:

*Normal State (top): all devices operate as intended.
*One power supply failure with standard Switches (middle): one power supply failure can bring down the entire network line.
*Same power supply failure with Fiber Bypass Switch in Operation (bottom): thanks to Fiber Bypass, only the affected switch goes offline while the rest of the network continues without interruption.

Under normal conditions, Fiber Bypass switches operates as a typical Layer 2 Managed Ethernet Switches. However in the event of a power failure or internal fault, the integrated optical bypass module is activated, allowing network traffic to continue flowing directly between connected devices without interruption, as if the switch were not present in the path. This ensures seamless continuity in mission critical networks where absolute reliability is essential, making this switch an ideal solution for industrial, telecom, and security environments.
