At the ADNOC Gas Processing facility in Abu Dhabi, UAE, a major CCTV modernization project required a reliable solution to migrate from legacy analog surveillance to a modern IP-based network.

Vikings Technology’s industrial fiber networking solutions played a key role in enabling this successful upgrade. Working with a local system integrator, more than 160 hardened-grade industrial media converters, including PoE-enabled models, were deployed throughout the facility to connect IP cameras and other network devices in demanding industrial environments. At the control room, corresponding media converters were installed in high-density 19-inch rack-mount chassis, providing fiber-to-Ethernet conversion in a compact and well-organized installation.
By combining rugged field equipment with space-efficient rack-mounted systems, the ADNOC Gas Processing facility achieved a reliable and cost-efficient migration to IP surveillance for critical energy infrastructure.

Oman Oil Company holds a natural monopoly over critical gas transportation infrastructure in Oman as the exclusive owner and operator of the Natural Gas Transportation Network. They play a pivotal role in Oman’s energy value, contributing to Oman’s sustained industrial growth and economic progress.

As part of its ongoing commitment to operational excellence and infrastructure security, Oman Oil has implemented a state-of-the-art network solution to support its security systems across eight strategic sites. In collaboration with a local system integrator, a total of 80 industrial-grade Ethernet switches from Vikings Technology were deployed. Each unit was equipped with high-performance industrial fiber SFP modules to establish a secure and resilient fiber communication backbone. The deployment included a range of industrial switches featuring multiple RJ45 and SFP fiber ports tailored to meet the specific networking needs of each site. These switches now provide uninterrupted, high-speed connectivity between surveillance cameras, sensors, and other mission-critical components – delivering a robust fiber-optic infrastructure capable of withstanding the demands of harsh industrial environments.

Al Dhakhlia Water Transmission System Phase II project has been awarded to our partner by the Public Authority for Water (DIAM), Oman. The contract includes the installation of hundreds kilometers of pipelines for water transmission with associated civil works, number of RCC water storage reservoirs, pumping stations with associated mechanical, electrical, control and instrumentation work.

Nearly 100pcs of Vikings Technology Hardened Industrial Managed PoE Switches and Media Converters were chosen to ensure stable and reliable CCTV system operation.

Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Company is a Saudi joint stock company leading the field of chemicals, polymers and specialty products. It is one of the largest complexes in the world and is located in Jubail Industrial City.

To increase the Complex security, existing analog CCTV system has been upgraded to IP system, with over 140pcs of our Hardened Industrial Media Converters and Optical Switches used.

Nearly 100pcs of our gigabit Industrial Hardened Fiber Media Converters with industrial SFPs and power supplies were used in ADNOC Drilling Onshore & Offshore Rigs for fiber network setup and connectivity between caravans and the IT room's of the rigs.
