At the ADNOC Gas Processing facility in Abu Dhabi, UAE, a major CCTV modernization project required a reliable solution to migrate from legacy analog surveillance to a modern IP-based network. Vikings Technology’s industrial fiber networking solutions played a key role in enabling this successful upgrade.

Working with a local system integrator, more than 160 hardened-grade industrial media converters, including PoE-enabled models, were deployed throughout the facility to connect IP cameras and other network devices in demanding industrial environments.

At the control room, corresponding media converters were installed in high-density 19-inch rack-mount chassis, providing fiber-to-Ethernet conversion in a compact and well-organized installation.

By combining rugged field equipment with space-efficient rack-mounted systems, the ADNOC Gas Processing facility achieved a reliable and cost-efficient migration to IP surveillance for critical energy infrastructure.
