Oman Oil has implemented a state-of-the-art network solution to support its security systems across eight strategic sites. In collaboration with a local system integrator, a total of 80 industrial-grade Ethernet switches from Vikings Technology were deployed. Each unit was equipped with high-performance industrial fiber SFP modules to establish a secure and resilient fiber communication backbone.
These switches now provide uninterrupted, high-speed connectivity between surveillance cameras, sensors, and other mission-critical components – delivering a robust fiber-optic infrastructure capable of withstanding the demands of harsh industrial environments.
