Description

The SMX4840CP series Layer 2+ Managed Ethernet Switch comes with 48*10/100/1000Mbps RJ45 PoE and 4*1/2.5/10GBase-X SFP+ ports. The PoE version provides PoE as Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) up to 30W per port with total up to 370W PoE budget. With in-built Ethernet extender function, signals on copper ports can be transmitted & received up to 250meters from remote devices, at the same time supplying PoE power. Ethernet Ring Protection Switching (ERPS) grants ultra fast recovery time of less than 50ms. Powerful Layer 2+ management and security functions with 48 x 1G RJ45 and 4 x 10G SFP+ ports ensures suitability for large scale network projects.
